For compatible non-MagSafe® phones or cases, a complimentary Magnetic Ring is included to create a secure magnetic connection for easy access anywhere.

Attach in Seconds:
Peel: Remove the adhesive backing from the Magnetic Ring.
Position: Place the ring where you want your ThinOptics magnetic case to attach.
Press: Press firmly to secure the ring in place.
Attach: Align your ThinOptics magnetic case with the ring and snap it into place.

Saw them on a FaceBook ad almost 8 years ago and ordered them while on vacation in New York city. They were waiting for me when I got home and have ordered several pairs since then as they get scratched/broken.
Great device. My hack was to outline area on phone case the TO case was going to sit and drill little holes in the phone case. Next, I used some super strong epoxy glue to affix the cases together. Violá, never separates. Your welcome✌🏼
i need these in 3.0, where can i buy these in 3.0 that will fit my magsafe cafe? please help. the concept is great and i love it if only i can find 3.0

As Apple has added a magnetic safe, replacing the 2-sided tape case with one designed for the MagSafe was a terrific decision. I've been using its predecessor for years. This product is a step in a good direction.
Good/Bad: The removable MagCase is terrific. If I wish to use another PopSocket product, it's easy to change. The Thin Optic nose-pinching glasses slide in very easily. That avoids scratching the lenses. However, that's a "bad" too. I have had them slip out of the case at times when I wasn't trying to get them out.

Love the Mag Safe case. Gave a 4-star review. Would love to be able to reverse the orientation, but when I try to have the opening on the right it does not stick. You need to orient the magnet so that the case can clip on in either direction.
