Blue light has been linked to multiple vision problems. But giving up your blue-light-emitting devices, like phone, tablet or computer, is not an option for most. So we created ThinOptics Computer Glasses to help.
On the visible spectrum of light, blue light helps keep us alert, regulates our mood, helps our memory and differentiates between night and day. However, certain wavelengths of high-energy visible blue light from our digital devices can cause mild-to-severe health problems.

Blue light is everywhere (it’s what makes the sky blue), but these short wavelength beams are also found in more concentrated form in LED screens, including your phone, tablet, TV and laptop computers.

According to the American Optometric Association, more than half of Americans report experiencing digital eye strain caused by certain frequencies of blue light from their phone, computer or tablet.

Blue light has been linked to sleeping problems as it suppresses melatonin production which disturbs the natural sleep cycle. It contributes to age-related macular degeneration due to long-term exposure according to a study from Harvard Medical School.

ThinOptics Computer Glasses (from zero to +2.5 strength) use a mild yellow filter to block blue light in the dangerous wavelengths from your phone, laptop or while gaming.

What Are Blue-Light Symptoms?
